Our students are diving into the fascinating life cycle of salmon, following these incredible fish from their earliest stages all the way to the catch! With Mr. Phillips and Ms. Mackey, students are exploring how salmon develop, grow, migrate, and eventually return to the waterways where their journey began. They’re combining science, observation, hands on learning, and a little bit of the excitement that comes with salmon fishing! It’s a great example of how learning can connect the classroom to the world around us, and even to the waters right here in our own backyard. Great job, students, and a big thank you to Mr. Phillips and Ms. Mackey for making learning engaging and meaningful!

Mrs. Allen’s science students brought chemistry to life with a colorful, hands-on lesson! They observed how different chemicals produce different colors when heated, turning a science concept into something they could see for themselves.
